Look Up

Hey bloggers! I apologize for the lack of blogging. I had trouble finding something nice to share. Hopefully this video will make you all think twice and connect with those who surround you. I have nothing against being glued to your devices. However, don’t you think it would be nice to look up from your phones every once in awhile? I hope you all enjoy this creative video! 🙂

Hi everyone, my name is Mayra! As you can probably tell from my blog posts, I have always enjoyed spreading some positivity- even to this day! My biggest wish has been to inspire others because engaging with people while helping them is extremely rewarding to me. Along with writing motivational posts, I also plan on giving advice. I welcome everyone to come to me for anything because I truly care about YOU!

      • Thank you so much! And yes, I’m saving money by going to a community college for 2 years and then getting my Bachelors degree in Journalism at a University!

      • Smart thinking, you are wise to do so. I know many who have done the same. I am already imagining your by-line. It is exciting, isn’t it? Stretch your wings and fly!

      • Thanks! 😀 A lot of people usually see community college as a bad thing, but I am not ashamed to commit to somewhere that I know will benefit me in the future. Saving 2 years of an expensive university can go a long way! I admit, it is exciting. But, why must it happen so fast? I don’t feel ready..

      • Why don’t you feel ready? You might want to look at that. Your gut tells the truth so listen to its message. You could take a year off to work and save money, an option that is becoming more popular due to the high expense of education. But that route takes clear focus and determination not to slack off!

      • I feel that the thought of attending college is bittersweet. The whole idea of graduating high school and leaving friends behind makes me anxious. However, I am looking forward to gaining this experience. It is something new to look forward to. I know that if I were to put college on hold for a year, I would most certainly slack off! Haha I guess I just have to face the real world and enjoy learning and meeting new people along the way.
